About Smuuti

Is Smuuti Skin a Finnish brand?

All Smuuti Skin products are designed in Finland and manufactured in Korea. Our products are created to suit everyone.

Is Smuuti Skin a vegan and cruelty-free brand?

Yes! All Smuuti Skin products are vegan and completely cruelty-free.

How does Smuuti Skin consider the environment?

We use minimal packaging with as little material as possible to reduce plastic waste. The types of plastic and cardboard we use are easy for customers to recycle. This also means smaller logistics emissions and, of course, more affordable prices for our customers.

Our products contain no microplastics. In addition to environmental responsibility, we also care about the social aspect: our products are manufactured under ethical working conditions at one of Korea’s most respected cosmetics factories.

Can the product packaging be recycled?

At Smuuti Skin, we want you to pay for the product inside, not for unnecessary packaging. That’s why our products are packed minimally with as little material as possible.

Most Smuuti Skin products come in protective cardboard cartons that can be recycled as paperboard. All product containers are plastic, so they can be recycled empty and clean in plastic collection. All caps, lids, and pumps should be removed and placed in the recycling bin separately.

Are Smuuti Skin products fragrance-free?

All Smuuti Skin products are fragrance-free except for the Watermelon Jelly Cream, which has a subtle watermelon scent, and the lip masks, which have a light fruity fragrance.

Finding the suitable products

What ages are Smuuti Skin products suitable for?

Smuuti Skin is designed with young skin in mind but suitable for everyone. We don’t recommend starting skincare under the age of 10.

  • Usually only gentle cleansing and light hydration are needed. Sunscreen is recommended in spring and summer.
  • Start with basics like cleansing, toner, and moisturizer. Add gentle care for impurities if needed. Always use sunscreen.
  • Continue with basics and add targeted products for dullness, uneven tone, or fine lines. Pear Balance is designed to address these concerns.
  • Switch to richer, more nourishing textures. Peach Barrier is an excellent choice for aging skin.

How should I try new skincare products?

Always start carefully with any new product, as skin reactions are individual and possible even without common allergens or actives. Test the product first on a small area, like your wrist or behind the ear, and leave it overnight (unless it’s a rinse-off product). Introduce only one new product at a time so it’s easier to identify what caused a reaction if one occurs.

Which skin types are the products suitable for?

We aim to create simple yet effective skincare products with something for everyone. You can find more details about each product and its purpose on our product pages.

What steps should a skincare routine include?

The basic steps are makeup removal, cleansing, targeted treatments, hydration (both water- and oil-based), and sun protection. A morning routine can include any of these except makeup removal, while an evening routine can include any except sunscreen. Skincare usually starts with cleansing and ends with cream or sunscreen, with other steps layered from the lightest to the richest.
